3 Link and 4 Link Suspension tabs and brackets
Our philosophy at RuffStuff Specialties is Stronger and Strongest, when building a 3 or 4 link suspension that should be foremost in your mind. Following the Strength where its needed most line of thought takes you to the working end of your rig.
When I went looking for Link Brackets and Link tabs for my ‘73 FJ40 all I found were 3/16 brackets masquerading as the strongest or 5/16 single tabs doing the same, and for some serious coin too. Now an FJ40 is a short WB rig but it is no lightweight by anyones definition, so with my link suspension I was going to build something to last for more than 1 trip to the Hammers. The lack of available, fairly priced, and strong (IMO) gear was a driving force behind the creation of RuffStuff Specialties.
Anyway, here is what I did, we offer 5 different styles of 3 or 4 link tab or bracket, all available in 3 different angle configurations that are modifiable in 2-3 minutes to a slightly different angle to suit your individual needs. All have 9/16 holes, you can drill them bigger when needed. If you are unsure of your exact needs until you start you can buy extras of different sizes and return unused items for full credit (return in original condition, you get to cover the freight on those). All Link Brackets are sold in pairs, keep this in mind when comparing prices, 1 pair of brackets replace 4 single tabs and that makes our brackets less expensive than many companies tabs. Tabs come 1 each so you can mix and match.
