Dodge Dana 60 Front Axle Simple Swap
Kit Includes:
- 2 leaf spring plates for 2.5" springs
- 1 perch for 3.25" axle tube and 2.5" wide
- 2 shock brackets 1.5" ID
- 2 U-bolts 10"x5/8"x3 1/4" and hardware
- 1 U-bolt 10"x5/8"x3 7/8" and hardware
First off you only need 3 Ubolts and 1 of them needs to be 3 7/8". Secondly, the cast in place perch has a unique pattern so we give you the unique pattern Ubolt plate and the standard Ubolt plate for the tube side. Lastly, you only need 1 Spring Perch so you get that too.
The Kit comes with our Curved Shock Brackets rather than the shorter ones so that you can ride up the C better too.
The Cast Side Ubolt Plate is 1/2" thick to make up for the lack of bends and has 3 holes pre-drilled so if you wish to add a 3rd stud its alot easier. Check your axle closely, the Dodge and the GM D60 front axles are very simular, in fact many Dodge D60's have the GM casting.
To be certain of the axle measure from the pin center to the imaginary line between the studs, if it is 1" it is the true Dodge D60, if not get the GM D60 kit, simple as that.
