A complete kit to mount 63" Chevy leaf springs under your rig — customizable for your axle and shackle setup.

This kit includes everything needed to properly install 63" Chevy rear springs, one of the most popular swaps for strength, flex, and ride quality. It provides spring plates, perches, hangers, shackles, bushings, U-bolts, and hardware, with options to fit different axle tube sizes and shackle lengths. The recommended 5" shackles usually set the springs at 65–70 degrees to prevent inversion, but shorter or longer shackles can be chosen to match your axle and ride preference.

All brackets are built for a strong, weld-on installation. Urethane bushings are included and must be greased properly during assembly for long-term performance. By bundling all the key components into one package, this kit makes the 63" Chevy spring swap straightforward, while giving flexibility to fine-tune your suspension setup.

2 grade 8 bolts (9/16" x 4.5") with Nylock nuts for spring hangers
4 grade 8 bolts (9/16" x 5") with Nylock nuts for shackle hangers
4 shackles at chosen length, drilled for 9/16" (5" standard)

Note

When installing urethane bushings, remove all old rubber and shells, clean spring eyes and brackets, and apply grease to all contact surfaces (bushing I.D., O.D., flanges, and sleeves) before assembly.

There is just no way you can put this together for less.

What can you say? Other than this is the IDEAL 63 kit. comes with everything I needed and there's no way I could have put this kit together for less $. All of the items are the quality I've come to expect from Ruff Stuff.

Great product! Wish there was a walkthrough.

Kit came with everything needed, although with my 99-06 Chevy leafs I had to drill out the holes to 9/16", and the page doesn't mention that. Everything was really high quality, and extremely overbuilt. I highly doubt I'll ever break anything. Ended up using another manufacturer's walkthrough for initial tacking before fine tuning. Overall a great kit.

Great Quality, Make Sure You Have the Right Springs Though

This kit lives up to the RuffStuff reputation. The time and money it would cost to either piece this kit together or make it yourself wouldn't be worth it. The only thing that I didn't realize was that the bushings provided are for 1998 or older leaf springs. In 1999 they went to a bigger bushing so I esentially have two useless bushings in my garage and I had to pay for new bushings. The kit quality was great and easy to install if you are a decent welder but it would have been nice if the leaf spring bushing info was specified in the description.

Fits my needs perfectly

Very heavy duty stuff in this kit. Everything came well packaged and relatively quickly. I have not installed this yet but I am sure it is going to handle anything I throw at it. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I plan to order more from Ruff stuff soon!

Just as they are called the Ideal 63" Chevy Spring Swap is great.Ordering what I needed was a great experience and they knew exactly what I needed for the job I was doing on a Toyota. Couldn't ask for a better product or customer service.I would buy this again and would recommend if you are doing a swap to pick up this kit and you won't be dissatisfied.
