Big Travel Shock Brackets, 6.5"
These are what we think another manufacturer should have made to go with their 64" Link Destroyer leaf spring kit. In all thier pictures they never show what the shock brackets look like. These are what you need to get 19" or 20" of travel from a 16" shock. The mounting surface would usually be the rear of the axle. You would then mount your coilover or Bypass with a rearward lean to multiply the leverage and allow a spring to get more travel than the shock could do mounted vertically. That is a Swayaway 3.0 triple Bypass to try and help you see the scale of things, you can also see our standard unit of measure in the other picture. FYI, a can of Diet Coke is 4 7/8" tall and 2 7/8" in diameter. This model is 6.5" from the axle tube or approximately 8" forward or rearward of a standard top mounted shock. These are of course sold in pairs and available tig welded for $50 extra, they come unwelded.
