This is our basic differential cover, we see it as the only one worth making. The Dana 44 axles are found stock on an endless variety of trucks from International Scouts (front & rear), Chevy, Ford, & Dodge trucks usually in the front, Wagoneers (Waggy's), Rubicons & about a hunderd others. The D44's end up in every kind of rig made from Samurai's to Land Cruisers to Jeeps and even Full Sized trucks & Light Weight Buggy's. These covers are made of a 1 piece Plate steel cover bent 8 ways, way hard to hurt in .375 (3/8"). The ring is also .375. The fill plug is a generous 1" ID for easy fill and oil level check. One of the reasons it is so hard to hurt is that we manufacture it out of A50 Plate Steel, thats 50,000 PSI Tensile strength. The D44 is our second best selling cover. After welding the mounting surface is machined absolutely flat for a perfect fit! And they will fit the new Rubicon D44's. This is for a fully welded D44 High or Low pinon Diff Cover, welded inside and out.
