This is not your plain Jane Spare Tire Mounting Plate, it is the leader of the pack in the spare tire world! We start with 3/8" A536 Plate and Laser cut a nice even circle with 10 holes. Those holes are the size of Jeep Wheel Studs, the outer ring is for the 5.5" pattern and the inner ring is for the 4.5" pattern (thats the Ranger Pattern too). After that we cut another 3/4" hole in the dead center to be a plug weld placement after you use it to center it on your Spindle arm. These definately need to be welded on so don't even think a 3/4" bolt might do the trick, its there for guidance and centering, nothing more!
