This has been an excellent tool to use to both reinforce and locate Crossmembers when using 2" Square tube, we use alot of 2" x 1/4" wall square for ease of alignment, strength, and price. This mounting plate adds welding area and shear strength right where you need it, and makes mounting a Crossmember a 1 person job! These are great for mounting from the top down or the bottom up. These come in pairs.
