Dana 60 / Dana 70 Differential Cover

This is our basic differential cover, we see it as the only one worth making. The Dana 60 axles are found stock on an endless variety of trucks from International Travelalls, Chevys, Fords, & Dodge trucks. The D60's end up in every kind of rig from Samurai's to Land Cruisers to Jeeps and full sized trucks & buggy's.

The differential cover is a 1 piece 3/8" (.375") plate steel cap bent 8 ways then welded to a 3/8" ring! The fill plug is a generous 1" ID for easy fill and oil level check. The D60 is our best selling cover. After welding the mounting surface is machined absolutely flat for a perfect fit!

These are well made and very heavy duty covers. I only had a few issues during install. I have a 1979 F250 with a Dana 60 on the front. The spring bottom u bolt axle saddle interfered with the new covers due to the thickness. I had to grind about half the thickness for about 1/2" to get it to clear. The fill plug lined up right behind my steering arm and I was unable to torque or use a ratchet I had to use an allen and a box end wrench to tighten it. I had to use one of the old bolts as one of the new bolts sent was a size to small. I'll correct this when I find another bolt to match. other than that I used the Lubelockers and so far so good. I will say they are way easier to deal with then RTV.
