Dana 30 3/8" Differential Cover
The D30 came in a few different trucks but it primarily came in Jeeps, from the Jeepster in the late 60's, through most of the CJ5, CJ6, & CJ7 years, throughout all of the different Wrangler variations (YJ & TJ), Cherokees (XJ), and of course the early Broncos. The D30 axle is actually a pretty good axle for its size if you don't get carried away with too big tires.
Our covers are crafted from A50 plate steel with a 50,000 PSI tensile strength, so this cover is tough, it's a fortress of steel, specifically crafted to handle the intense demands of rock crawling. The 1 piece 3/8" (.375") plate steel cap is bent 8 ways and welded to a 3/8" ring, making it virtually indestructible. And after welding, the mounting surface is machined perfectly flat for an unbeatable fit.

One of the questions we get regularly is about the tie rod clearance, it is ~3/4" and it clears all of the D30 axle setups we have encountered.
