Just what I needed

I got this for my crossover steering setup, it's exactly what I needed and just as described

Fit and function

Needed a replacement bung for a drag link. This was a good fit and has a thick sleeve that made the weld a bit stronger. I latter bought a spare for both sides from Ruffstuff.

Worked Great

I used this with welded tubing, not the DOM sold by RuffStuff because it is what I had. I do not recommend this as the fit is not great and this makes it harder to align when welding. I had to start with tubing which was looser, tack the adapter in place and then hammer it straight before welding it up. Do yourself a favor and buy the DOM. The seam inside welded tubing makes working with the welded stuff a real pain. The adapter welded easily and I had no problem getting good weld penetration. Threads were perfect.

Perfect fit.

This tube adapter along with the DOM tubing Ruff Stuff sells was exactly what I needed. The adapter fit perfectly inside the tube, no slop so I was not worried it being straight. I was a little worried about overheating the threads during welding, but everything turned out fine.
