3" Drop Pitman Arm

Correct steering geometry for crossover and high-steer setups.

This 3" Drop Pitman Arm is designed for crossover and high-steer steering setups, providing critical correction to steering geometry on lifted rigs. It's built to work with 2WD steering boxes or 4WD boxes converted with a 2WD sector shaft, and features a GM-style taper that matches ES2027L or ES2026R tie rod ends. Perfect for 32-spline boxes with 4 keyways—this arm has no indexing keys, allowing it to be positioned in any direction for optimal fitment.

Measuring 6.5" center-to-center, it's longer than most OEM arms and helps improve leverage and steering response. The tapered hole is reamed specifically for 1-ton high-angle tie rod ends, ensuring durability and performance for off-road or heavy-duty use.

Fitment Notes: This arm fits many common Jeep steering boxes, but it is about 1" longer than stock. Always verify clearance around the panhard and other suspension components before installation.

Awesome!!!

Bought this for my 1 ton GM soa project on my 94 YJ, and after asking them if this would work on my stock Wrangler steering box- which they said YES - even though it wasn't clear in the description, so I bought it! It fit excellent and with no keys, it allows you to index and center the pitman for max steering in both directions! It's WAY beefier than the old Rough Country drop arm I had!! Almost the same drop (maybe 1/2" less?) but that extra length is Way better with my high steer crossover kit/ arms!!!
Wish I could put up the pix I took of it installed, so others can see the geometry of the DOM tubes and how it's almost as perfect as stock!! Wow! Great company, great products, and great customer service!!!!

Does fit the WJ!

After searching forums, I could not find an answer for the wj. So I took it apart, counted the splines and called RUFFSTUFF SUPPORT. They reassured my measurements and spline count and made sure I was using the correct TRE (the high steer one). Once again, great product! And great support!
