This kit replaces weak factory shackle mounts on the Jeep Cherokee XJ with fully welded 3/16" A36 steel hangers. Designed with five mounting holes, it allows you to fine-tune your shackle angle for better suspension performance and articulation. The furthest rear hole matches the factory mount location, while the other positions give you flexibility to optimize your setup.

Installation requires cutting, grinding, and welding, and the kit is designed to pair with frame stiffeners that end where these hangers begin. If you’re running full-length stiffeners, modifications or spring outboarding will be needed for proper fitment. Once installed, these brackets provide a durable, adjustable mounting point that transforms your XJ’s rear suspension.
