Durable Chromoly Heim Joint for High-Load Applications

This is a 7/8" shaft with a 3/4" bore (14 TPI). Sometimes smaller in the right places is better! These high-quality heat-treated Chromoly rod ends are far from cheap mild steel heims—they’re built for strength and reliability. The 4130 Chromoly housing has a hard chrome finish, while the ball is made from 51200 bearing steel, heat-treated, and finished in hard chrome. The race is injection-molded Teflon-impregnated nylon for smooth performance and durability.

With an approximate ultimate radial static load of 55,600 lbs, these are tested to first deformation rather than destruction, giving you a more accurate measure of real-world performance.

7/8 Heim joints

Got these to replace some 5 year old heim joints that were getting loose and letting the wheels wobble. These tightened everything up. We will see if they last 5 years.

Cant get any better

Only heims I buy

I have been running 7/8 heims in all of my links for the last couple years on my one ton XJ. I redid the suspension this year and added some and reused all of my old ones. They were all still tight and in great shape, even after daily driving as my winter vehicle.

Bought the rest now buy the best !!

I have used three major brands of Rods End and all were much more expensive. Within three to five months or so they all clunked banged and squeaked. I have had Ruff Stuff rod ends in for a eight months now and still quiet. The Zinc Misalignment's were temporary out of stock so they upgraded me to stainless for free. You can't ask for better costumer service or Quality.
