Crafted from 1/4" thick 6061 T6 heat-treated aluminum skids and 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets, this skid ensures exceptional durability and strength. Precision-engineered using factory CAD files and 3D laser creatorform scan technology, the skid is CNC cut and formed for high strength and perfect fitment with critical drivetrain components. With Artec Industries countersunk bolts and brackets engineered for maximum durability, this complete modular skid system allows you to determine your level of protection for critical underbelly components.

This skid replaces OEM skid plates, increasing ground clearance by over 1/2 inch while providing total protection of the Hybrid Drivetrain (PHEV) including Power Pack and Exhaust System. At just 132 lbs total, the Artec skid weighs significantly less than the OEM skid weight of 106 lbs, offering superior protection without the weight penalty. The skid features easy installation, easy-to-remove access points for maintenance, and is designed for no rust, light weight, and high strength performance.
