This is the fill plug we use for our axle housings. The easy grip makes for a tight fit and easy removal. These have a very large 1.25" view hole so you can keep up with what's going on in there.

"Aluminum fill cap"

Mine showed up as a 1"�� square head steel pipe plug meant to use a 1/2"�� ratch. And a steel "bung"�� definitely not as described and no "aluminum"�� I could have went to homedepot for this same set up and payed 7$. I didn't use it and had to go with the trail gear one. Sept 2021

Looks good and works better

Good quality part with a thick weld on bung that shouldn't shrink up when you weld it. Big enough for an inspection port and no funnel needed. Nice thick threads that will last a long time. Shipping was fast. Skip the pipe threads and do it right the first time.

Fill plug

Installed this on my 9". Highly recomend it as a fill/inspection port. High quality part that looks great too.
