This rear bumper isn't like the typical bumpers everyone else makes. The overlay design bolts directly over your existing crossmember, thickening and strengthening it while providing superior protection for off-road adventures. Designed for a snug fit that you can install in less than an hour, delivering the strength and durability that RuffStuff is known for.

Made from 3/16" steel construction with precision engineering for maximum strength without compromising fitment. The unpainted finish allows you to weld on additional mounts like steps or tire carriers before applying your preferred coating.

BAD A$$!!

This bumper is awesome. I love how it is flush with the back of my yj. This bumper is the thickest, strongest bumper for a yj on the market!!!.fits pretty tight, had to use the bolts to pull it up around the rear body mounts but once on it fits like a glove and looks awesome. Only complaint is the driver side of the bumper isn't notched correctly for 2 of the 3 gas tank skid plate nuts but you can remove the nuts from the bolts sticking down and the bumper overlaps the skid plate and gives it more support than the 2 nuts did. Overall I'd say this is the best flush mount yj bumper on the market!! Thank you Ruff Stuff Specialties!!!

Perfect Solution

Fit snugly over the existing crossmember on my 1993 YJ, strengthening this weak area of the frame. Every YJ needs one of these. Worked perfectly for mounting my custom-made swing-out tire carrier.
