Heavy-Duty Diff Cover for 2003–2012 Dodge AAM 9.25" Front Axles

This is our heavy-duty differential cover for Dodge AAM 9.25" front axles with 14-bolt covers—commonly found on 2003–2012 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. The year 2013 is a transition year, so it's important to count your cover bolts before ordering. Models from 2014 and newer use a 12-bolt version.

The cover is made from a single 3/8" plate steel cap, bent 8 ways and fully welded inside and out to a 1/2" thick ring. After welding, the mounting surface is machined perfectly flat to ensure a leak-free seal. A large 1" ID fill plug makes oil changes and level checks easy. Ships raw and includes 12-point bolts with washers.

Heavy duty front AAM 9.25 diff cover

Wanted an extreme front diff cover for my Ram 2500 that I use as a tow rig and Recce of Rally racing stages in the Pacific Northwest. The 9.25 AAM diff cover exceeds my need but gives me the confidence that the diff is protected no matter what I run up against on adventures. The part fit the diff with no issues, install was easy and only required an extra 0.5qt of gear oil. I saw/felt no interference lock to lock. I am more than satisfied with the quality of the product and purchase. I recommend if you want a heavy duty front diff cover.

I've had this installed for several months now and this front diff cover is awesome! I ordered threaded drain plug and welded it in myself, then painted black to match. I used the original OEM seal and had some SS hex head bolts and washers so gave it that added look! Love this thing! It's a no brainer - BUY THIS ONE!

After hitting a tree stump at the lake with my stock cover and denting it, I looked around for a beefier cover and this fit the bill perfectly. Super thick, fit with no modifications came with new bolts, just put a clear coat on it and new gasket worked great. Only thing is that I wish the bolts were recessed and more protected but that a preference and cover is awesome.

Great cover

I got this cover for my 06 power wagon because the one I had was cast iron with fins. Fins got in the way of ram for hydro assist. I welded the tabs to this diff cover to reverse the ram which made things easier with hose routing. Plus I have more confidence in this cover than the cast iron one I had before. Excellent product and well worth the price which is very reasonable.
