U-Bolt Plates For Early Jeep (CJ & M Series)

This u-Bolt retention plate is made for CJ & M Series 1.75"- 2" width Leaf Springs with spring over axle. This plate has oval bolt holes so it will fit an axle from 2.5 to 3.5" in diameter, so if you upgrade axles you won't need new u-bolt Plates. It's also set up for 3 different mounting position options so wheelbase can be adjusted. The ends are bent at a 45 degree angle for additional lateral strength and is .375" (3/8) thick. These are made from HR P&O Steel Plate. Sold in pairs.
