Heavy-Duty Kick-In Shock Mounts for Ford 8.8” Axles

These 10° shock brackets are a go-to upgrade when you're dialing in shock geometry on a 3" to 3.25" axle tube. Built from beefy 1/4" A36 steel, they’re made to take hits and keep working — ideal for off-road builds where strength and clearance matter.

The inward 10° angle helps bring the shock closer to the frame, improving suspension travel and reducing binding without major rework. They fit snug on common axle tubes like the Ford 8.8", and can be tweaked slightly to fit up to 3.5". Clean, simple, and trail-tested.

Nice and sturdy

Needed to replace my stock brackets as my longarm kit caused the shocks to bind up on the spring mounts. They shipped quickly and were delivered in no time. Got them mounted up and the clearance is now much better. Love the beefiness compared to the original mounts

High Quality

I've had my 99 wrangler for 18 years and I upgrade when I need to. I have a D44 front/ D60 rear with your diff covers (ultra tough!) and now your shock brackets; had them before on my D44 rear and they never failed. Whenever I break or wear out parts I'm going Ruffstuff!

I have bought a few items from Ruff Stuff. All have been top quality, service is fantastic. These shock mounts are super tough. I wheel in the rocks a 73 Bronco and can't bend these things, super tough. GREAT PRODUCT. But what else would you expect from these guys
