Description

Front Shock Stem Eliminator for Jeep XJ / TJ / LJ (1984–2006)

Eliminate upper shock stem binding and upgrade to a true through-bolt mount.

This front shock stem eliminator kit converts the upper shock mount on your Jeep XJ or TJ/LJ from a factory-style stem to a standard through-bolt setup. That change eliminates the flex and bind commonly seen with stem mounts, giving you smoother suspension travel and more predictable ride quality — especially on rough trails or under articulation.

Cut from 3/16" plate steel and built to handle trail abuse, this is a simple upgrade that makes a big difference in long-term performance and reliability. It’s ideal for anyone running aftermarket shocks with eyelet ends or looking to simplify front shock service. Clean it up, weld it in, and drive harder.

Install

Install is very straight forward. Only thing that i recommend is welding the existing doubler plate since its only spot welded. Would also be nice if they were slightly oversized since these things are old and quite symmetrical.
