Description

FJ80 Tie Rod End — Right-Hand (M23 × 1.5)

Right-hand FJ80 TRE for crossover/high steer kits (M23 × 1.5)

This right-hand-thread tie rod end fits Toyota FJ80 high steer/crossover applications that use the FJ80 TRE taper. Threads are M23 × 1.5 RH to match common FJ80-pattern link hardware and adjusters. It includes a thick grease boot and installs with the supplied castle nut, cotter pin, and jam nut.

Use this RH end with a left-hand TRE on the opposite side to allow on-vehicle toe adjustment. The part is sold individually; verify taper compatibility with your steering arms before installation. After assembly, torque the castle nut to spec, insert a new cotter pin, and grease through the boot fitting.

Key Features

  • Part Number: R2183
  • Thread: M23 × 1.5, right-hand
  • Application: FJ80 TRE taper for Toyota crossover/high steer kits
  • Heavy-duty housing with thick grease boot
  • Includes castle nut, cotter pin, and jam nut
  • Sold individually

Note

Confirm you are pairing this RH-thread TRE with an LH-thread TRE on the opposite side for proper adjustment. Do not force an FJ80 TRE into non-matching tapers; if reaming is required, use the correct FJ80 TRE reamer. Follow factory torque specs and verify full steering clearance after installation.

Great Quality

I ordered 2 RH and 2 LH tie rods. Great quality product and shipping was quick. I only trust Ruffstuff parts for anything I'd worry about breaking.
