3" Drop Pitman Arm

This 3" Drop Pitman Arm is built for Crossover and High Steer Steering Set Up. The arm is meant to be used with 2WD Steering Boxes or with 4WD Steering Boxes with 2WD Sector Shaft Installed. Arm has GM Taper for ES2027L or ES2026R. 32 Spline, NO Master Key (Index-able in any Direction) It will replace arms with 4 Master Keys without any trouble. Reamed for 1 Ton High angle Tie Rod Ends only. This arm measures 6.5" on center

This arm will bolt up to the below listed jeep boxes but are about 1" longer than OEM. Double check clearances with your panhard, etc

1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ)
1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ)
1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ)
2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler (LJ)

Drop pitman arm helps reduce steering linkage angles on lifted vehicles. Recommended on all Jeep Wranglers running up to 3.5" of lift and jeep Cherokees(XJ) with stock suspensions, has 3" drop from a flat arm. Forged from high strength steel.

Bought this for my 1 ton GM soa project on my 94 YJ, and after asking them if this would work on my stock Wrangler steering box- which they said YES - even though it wasn't clear in the description, so I bought it! It fit excellent and with no keys, it allows you to index and center the pitman for max steering in both directions! It's WAY beefier than the old Rough Country drop arm I had!! Almost the same drop (maybe 1/2" less?) but that extra length is Way better with my high steer crossover kit/ arms!!! Wish I could put up the pix I took of it installed, so others can see the geometry of the DOM tubes and how it's almost as perfect as stock!! Wow! Great company, great products, and great customer service!!!! Please let me insert pix! LOL

After searching forums, I could not find an answer for the wj. So I took it apart, counted the splines and called RUFFSTUFF SUPPORT. They reassured my measurements and spline count and made sure I was using the correct TRE (the high steer one). Once again, great product! And great support!
