This rear back truss is shaped for maximum strength and designed specifically for Toyota mini truck 8" axles. The crowned back design helps keep your axle straight for years to come, preventing the common problem of axle housing distortion under heavy loads. Essential for any serious Toyota build where axle strength and longevity matter.

Made from 3/16" steel at 21 lbs total weight, this truss is built for full-length welding with complete fill hole access port protection. The welding sequence starts in the middle with 4" welds on top and bottom, then heavy tacking everywhere, followed by 3" stitches alternating top to bottom from outside in.

I haven't installed it yet but, this is typical Ruff Stuff quality. Very stout and fit against the rear axle housing is spot on.

Good product but not made for the 2nd gen Tacoma. Major cutting and grinding to get it to fit the center diff.

Solid well built truss that has a nice fit with the housing. On 80 series Land Cruisers this truss requires major housing or truss modification to deal with the many mounting brackets.
