Heavy-Duty DIY Steering Kit with High Steer Arms for Dana 44
This 1-ton crossover and high steer kit is built with serious trail abuse in mind. Using 1.5" x .25" wall DOM tubing, hex head bungs for easy adjustability, and GM 1-ton tie rod ends, this kit handles the hits. The high steer arms are double-drilled for hydraulic or assist setups and machined with the correct Ackerman angle. Arms are also pre-drilled for Reid knuckles—just ignore the extra hole if you’re running stock knuckles.
This is a DIY-style kit—some welding and fabrication required. DOM tubing is supplied longer than needed to account for fitment and any setup changes. Be sure to test fit and check clearances at full steering lock before cutting or final welding.
