Toyota Axle Housing Bash Plate 3/8" Thick, Diff Guard

Heavy-duty protection for your axle housing.

This 3/8" thick bash plate strengthens your stock Toyota axle housing for constant rock abuse and trail punishment. Designed around the mini truck stock 8" rear axle, it also fits the front 8" straight axle. When rocks and obstacles threaten your differential, this heavy-duty guard provides the protection you need to keep wheeling with confidence.

Built from 3/8" thick steel for maximum protection and durability. At 3 lbs, this bash plate can be modified to fit stamped Land Cruiser Toyota 9.5" axle housings (requires grinding or bending adjustments). The thick construction requires a torch for any modifications.

Bash guards

Used these on my 80. Front fit great and was very easy to reshape a little bit to use on my rear axle. Definitely beefy!!

With a few adjustments this fit my Nissan H233B rear axle pretty well. No company I know of makes weld-on armor specifically for that axle, so this was next best thing

Hate to say it...too beefy!

This may actually be too beefy
It's a lot of metal to be welding to the <1/8" stock axle housing. I think 1/4" would be totally fine here. Otherwise the fit is really good and there was only one area where I felt I was stretching the limit of my weld bead.

Best Option Out There

I've had a few of the competing diff guards. This one beats them all, seriously. There's nothing extra or unnecessary. It's the heaviest-duty guard available and it doesn't take up a lot of room.

In my case, I needed a cover that wouldn't hit my gas tank Suzuki w/ Toy axles. No others (that cover the important areas) would fit but this one.

As well, it's priced less.

Win, win, win.
