Description
14 Bolt Disc Brake Conversion Kit (C&C Axle with Single Rear Wheel)
Full-float strength, trail-width brakes—built for serious off-road conversions.
This disc brake conversion kit is designed specifically for Cab & Chassis (C&C) or dually 14 Bolt axles being converted to single rear wheel setups. Popular in off-road and custom builds, this setup gives you full-float axle strength with a narrower width—ideal for trail rigs, buggies, and crawlers. It's not designed for use with dually wheels or heavy tow vehicles—keep factory drums on tow rigs if parking brake performance is critical.
Swapping to disc brakes saves weight, improves brake response, and simplifies future maintenance. This kit replaces those heavy drums with modern, reliable components, using common 1975 Chevy 3/4 Ton front rotors and calipers. If you’re running a 14 Bolt C&C axle (common in '72–'87 Chevy 1-ton service trucks, crew cabs, and flatbeds), this is the cleanest bolt-on upgrade available.
