  • Ring is 1/2" and the Cover is 3/8" thick

This is our basic differential cover, we see it as the only one worth making. The Chrysler 8.25" axle came as Standard Equipment on the Jeep Cherokee (XJ), Grand Cherokee (ZJ), Liberty (KJ), & several Dakota trucks.

This Differential cover is a 1 piece Plate steel cap 3/8" (.375") thick bent 8 ways then welded to a 1/2" ring to better match up with the newer lockers. The fill plug is a generous 1.0" ID for easy fill and oil level check.


This is for a fully welded Chrysler 8.25" Differential Cover, welded inside and out with fill plug.

Supreme build quality, however I do wish that the required socket head cap screws were supplied. Luckily I had enough laying around from enough pto install I had just done. Wish there was a drain plug but I can live without that.
