14 Bolt Disc Brake Bracket Pair (C&C Hubs on an SRW Axle)
Requires single steel wheel 15" with a maximum 4" back spacing These are not for Dual Rear Wheels, they are made for single rear wheels.
These are the 14 Bolt Brake Brackets for the fairly common swap of CNC hubs being put on a SRW full float 14 bolt Axle ('73-87) to narrow the overall width. They are the same as our standard Disc Brackets with the exception of the offset needed to position the caliper correctly on the flange. They are 3/8" Plate steel bent to the correct offset and bolt right up! These make the 14 bolt Disc Brake Conversion easy! They come in pairs. If you think about these they MUST be bent or machined, anything else will NOT fit. They still use the '75 Chevy 3/4 Ton
Rotors & Calipers. After '99 all bets are off, the newer model 14 Bolt axles have a variety of patterns & offsets, use a weld on bracket for a newer 14 Bolt axle.
*NOTE* If longer studs are needed, usually dually studs are long enough or Dormin #610-301. Double check stud diameter, studs should drop freely into the rotor.
DO NOT press studs into the rotor. If your hub has too large of studs you will need to drill the rotors to accept them. Be sure to have minimum 5/8" lug nut thread engagement NAPA Part numbers for '73-'87 3/4 Ton Front, 4x4, Chevy Calipers and Rotors:
Caliper ONLY: LH - N4674, RH - N4673 - Both of these are LATER year part numbers
OR
LH - N4597, RH - N4596 - Both of these are EARLIER year part numbers
Rotor Only - 4885677 - all years
