Chrysler 8.25 3/8" Differential Cover

This is our basic differential cover, we see it as the only one worth making. The Chrysler 8.25" axle came as standard equipment on the Jeep Cherokee (XJ), Liberty (KJ), & several Dakota trucks.

Ring is 1/2" and the Cover is 3/8" thick
Plate steel cover bent 8 ways
Machined absolutely flat for a perfect fit
Seams fully welded inside and out
Optional bolt kit comes with (5/16) 12 point bolts with washers

The differential cover is a 1 piece 3/8" (.375") plate steel cap bent 8 ways then welded to a 1/2" ring to better match up with the newer lockers. The fill plug is a generous 1.0" ID for easy fill and oil level check. This is a fully welded Chrysler 8.25" Differential Cover, welded inside and out with fill plug.

cover is the best money can buy, but you would wonder if ruff stuff has ever installed one before? you cant tighten the bolts with a socket since they are too close to the weld. so you have to use a wrench and you can barely turn it and get a good bite. id recommend ruff stuff sell the covers with socket cap bolts instead.

Wheeled the rig pretty hard in Colorado last weekend and came home with the rear diff leaking after peeling the lip back. After searching high and low, finally opted for RuffStuff because everyone says they just work. They arrived 2 days later and my first response was "Holy CR*P!!!"
