Ford 8.8" 3/8" Differential Cover

This is our basic differential cover. The Ford 8.8 axle is easy to find in Ford Explorers, F150's, 4.0 liter Rangers, & a ton of Ford cars too.

Ring and the Cover are 3/8" thick
Plate steel cover bent 8 ways
Machined absolutely flat for a perfect fit
All seams welded inside and out
Bolt kit comes with (5/16) 12 point bolts with washers

The differential cover is a 1 piece 3/8" (.375") plate steel cap bent 8 ways then welded to a 1/2" ring. The fill plug is a generous 3/4" ID for easy fill and oil level check, it is located 1" above where the factory "should" have put it in a stock vehicle to account for pinion adjustment. One of the reasons it is so hard to hurt is that we manufacture it out of A50 Plate Steel, that's 50,000 PSI Tensile strength. After welding, the mounting surface is machined absolutely flat for a perfect fit!

This is a fully welded Ford 8.8 Diff Cover, welded inside and out and it will include a Fill Plug unlike many of the stock 8.8's.

This cover is a work of art, I should have clear coated it instead of painting it black. Seriously, someone give their welder a high five, that guy/gal is at the top of their game! The bolt kit was also equally high grade stuff. In all, this thing is heavy duty and will hold up to whatever I can throw at it. Ordered it through Amazon so it doesn't get easier. Shipping was incredibly fast. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I absolutely will buy from ruffstuff again!
