Our covers are crafted from A50 plate steel with a 50,000 PSI tensile strength, so this cover is tough, it's a fortress of steel, specifically crafted to handle the intense demands of rock crawling. The 1 piece 3/8" (.375") plate steel cap is bent 8 ways and welded to a 3/8" ring, making it virtually indestructible compared to the 1/4" cap used by our competitors.. And after welding, the mounting surface is machined perfectly flat for an unbeatable fit.

I ordered this cover for a 10.5 sterling. I didn't get my axle build done for another month. That's when I found out it didn't fit. It was crashing with a casting rib on the carrier bearing cap which left me with a 3\16 gap. When I called up and explained, the conclusion was that there was a slight difference between the 10.5 and the 10.25. They offered to build me a new one with additional clearance (their cost) and ship it for free. To be honest. I did have to make a follow up call when it didn't show up on time. To be fair, things happen and not every order can be perfect. That one phone call cleared everything up and I got my new cover the next day. Works perfect and I have beaten it hard over the last 3 months or so. No complaints here. Just one more great purchase I've had from ruffstuff. Thanks Dan

Lots of people give reviews when the order is correct and everything fits perfectly which seems to be normal for Ruff Stuff. However, I found out two months after ordering this diff cover that it was not right. I sent an email with pictures and about 2 hours later I received a shipment notification for another cover. A few minutes after that I received another email and it was from Ruff Stuff, they apologized and told me they shipped another cover with a return label. No discussion, no arguments, no threats, just great people who are easy to deal with and are humble enough to own their mistakes. A+ in my book!
