We have been thinking about these for a long time and I think we have come up with the best way to make them so here goes. This is one of the most popular tubes used in areas you would want removable. One thing we do to make these better is using a larger bolt, that is the weak link so why would you want to rely on a 1/4" bolt? These use a 5/16" bolt. They're made of 4130 chromoly and are sold individual.

I just want to make sure of something on these tube couplers.
They're listed as 1.5" OD. I'm assuming that's the OD of the outside flange, and not The OD of the coupling area.
In other words, the ends of these things should be able to slip inside a 1.75 OD .120 wall tube, yes?
1.5x.120 in the listing title is the size of the tubing it is going to fit. So the coupling area is 1.25".
The 1.75" x .120" couplers are 1.5" diameter in the coupling area.
