Axle Side Mount Shock Brackets

This is what you have been waiting for! We wanted to make a bracket to eliminate the Single Shear of Shock Mounting Posts found on so many vehicles (Blazers, Land Cruisers, and lots of different Jeep models). I am very happy with the results. With these you can mount 1 1/4", 1 1/2", or 1 3/4" eye Air shocks or Standard shocks the second tab is a floater that you decide where it needs to be. It also has a "floor" for additional protection and rigidity and the floor has 2 drain holes so you don't collect anything. It is designed to mount on either the leading or trailing edge of the axle tube so you can adjust your WB and keep the shock as low & as long as possible at the same time. They are also real handy when fitting everything on the front axle on a linked front end. With wider shocks weld the nut to the floating tab so you can get at it.

Details:

  • 1/4" thick
  • 1/2" bolt hole
  • Unwelded
  • Sold in pairs

The bracket was well made. But the distance from the tube radius to the inside shock ear is too short. I tried to mount these to an axle tube and could not get a nut between the tube and the inside ear. The shock ear needs to be 1/4" farther away from the tube radius.
