Ford 8.8 Rear Axle Simple Swap (31 spline)

This is the basic kit essential for your 31 spline 8.8 Rear Axle swap, more items could be added but this is the bare minimum. You will receive 1 pair of our 3/8" thick A50 Steel U-Bolt plates with 3 pin mounting options, a pair of our 8.8 Spring Perches with the same pin option to match, & 4 - 10" x 5/8" x 3 1/4" U-Bolts with 1/4" laser cut washers and nuts, and a pair of Shock Brackets . This will get your new Axle under the rig. BTW, this is NOT a Chinese made product that just can't hang with the big kids, this is the Big Kid.

This axle is found in Ford Explorers, F150 trucks, & Ford Broncos.

I bought a simple swap for my Ford Explorer 8.8" 31 spline axle. Upon receiving the kit I can see why USPS wants so much to ship these from NorCal to Southwestern Ontario Canada. This kit is built for serious abuse. If you own a Ford Ranger, Bronco II, Jeep CJ/YJ, S-dime or anything else that has leaf springs and needs them over the axle you need this kit. I can't wait to get my 2000 Ranger std cab/flareside 4x4 rolling with a 31 spline 8.8" with disk brakes and a lsd.
