Dana 60 Complete Crossover & High Steer Kit

Dana 60 Complete Crossover & High Steer Kit

Due to high demand please allow a 3-5 business day turnaround on Steering Kits

Tired of your vulnerable, weak, hard-to-adjust Dana 60 steering? This kit is the solution! It includes everything needed to convert your Dana 60 to a true 1-ton Crossover/High Steer setup. It comes with a set of our high steer arms (including hardware!) This kit also comes with two pieces of beefy 1.5” x .25” wall DOM tubing for your drag link and tie rod as well as 4 of our GM 1-ton TRE’s (four standard TRE’s) We include our hex head TRE tube adapters and jam nuts so you can adjust your steering with a crescent wrench rather than a pipe wrench- saving your tubing from scarring and prevent stress risers. These are all the important steering upgrades in one kit!

This is a do it yourself style kit that requires welding by a competent person with the right equipment, don't skimp, do it right! You will need to check clearances with the steering at lock to see if you need to add any bends before you cut it down to clear diff covers, sway bar mounts, etc

You will receive:

We supply more DOM than you need because it is way too easy to make a mistake in your calculations and you can always cut tube, growing it back is the hard part!

Questions and Answers

Ask a Question

Garhett B. on -- Asked: I have a 1982 k30 will I need to change out my steering gear in order to use this kit? Thank you.

Answered: Yes
John H. on -- Asked: How does the spring cap for the king pin fit with these steering arms? Is there a spacer (the thickness of the arm) to take up the extra space it creates?

Answered: The arm goes over the cap so no spacer is required
Kevin V. on -- Asked: I have a Kingpin 1983 Chevy Dana 60 front axle that I am planning to use with a long travel suspension. Will this system work well for 18" of travel?

Answered: Yes. With the steering linkage mounting to the tops of the knuckles this can help accommodate a large amount of down travel as it will reduce the angle on your drag link to prevent any binding or bumpsteer.
Justin on -- Asked: I have an 04 super duty Dana 60 that I would like to install high steer on, is this kit compatible with the ball joint set up or do I need something else? Thank you

Answered: This is only for the Kingpin Dana 60 axles. Unfortunately we do not have a high steer kit for the Ball Joint 60 axles at this time.
