Y Link Steering Using GM 1 Ton Tie Rod Ends

This is your not so basic steering setup that mocks the factory setup with easier adjustment & much stronger tubing. The kit can be used with stock steering position on the knuckle or High Steer arms, the taper is the standard GM 1 ton. These are stronger than stock because we use 1.5" X .25" Wall DOM tubing and the TRE's are made for a 1 ton rig and are much larger than stock. Adjustment is easier because we add Hex Head TRE weld bungs so a crescent wrench is your adjustment tool, not a pipe wrench, which will scar the tube and if too deep, cause a major stress riser. Not to mention what it does to the paint...

Important Note

  • Due to high demand please allow a 3-5 business day turnaround.
  • Requires welding by a competent person with the right equipment, don't skimp, do it right!
  • You will need to check clearances with the steering at lock to see if you need to add any bends before you cut it down to clear diff covers, sway bar mounts, etc

Kit Includes

We supply more DOM than you need because it is way too easy to make a mistake in your calculations and you can always cut tube, growing it back is the hard part!

This is a great product. I like DIY kits so i can build it to my needs and this more than worked out for me. I think this might outlast my axles.

Same this on a buddy's TJ. He said it was the way to go, and told me it cleared up all his steering wobble, and poor handling. Clearly much better suited to handle 35" tires and bigger. Just put it on my 2004 LJ and tested it out in Moab, UT at Easter Jeep. Worked awesome. So long bent tie rods!

Ever see a weight lifter with a huge upper body and tiny little legs? That's what your wussy factory steering looks like trying to move your +33" tires on your Jeep. It's time to *Arnold voice* pump-up that steering for your beefy tires!

Ok to make this short!!, Shipping is UPS professionally shipped and boxed. OK like most jeepers we like to upgrade and throw out the weak OEM parts,& ever have alignment issues after off roading or your steering wheel isn’t straight, well that’s because your old faithful oem steering likes to flex, bend, warp... and you probably have a death wobble causing your jeep to swerve from lane to lane..gotta love it, so fix it permanently and especially if your lifting your jeep and putting bigger tires on it, don’t buy stock you’ll just be replacing the whole dang thing again in 6 months.... trust me. I love mine and it’s such a head turner. Thank you I’m a very happy customer
